After a wonderful week-long program in Book Arts at Stone Coast Writing Center (Wolfe Neck, Maine) I am diving in with both hands to make art. After a visit to Michelle Ward's Green Pepper Press Street Team I was inspired to share in Crusade No. 43, "Text Messaging." It's been a long time since I got glue and ink on my fingers -- too long. What fun I had last night clipping and arranging and pasting down text! Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the team put together.

Ariel - welcome back! Glad to have you back playing with us! Bravo for taking a whole week up in Maine to make books. How terrific! Love your text messaging page - I recognize where "artful" comes from. Love seeing the little phrae you put together "pick text cut from mags". Clever ;) Looks like a great mix of words and colors!
It's so interesting to see the phrases that everyone has chosen to use in their crusades. I especially luv your "curious" & no, before you ask, I didn't turn my notebook upside down to read it ... I nearly did, but I didn't LOL
Fab!

Hey! Word is the word!! (I know it used to be Grease, but now it's Word.) It's cool to work with words when we love them. I am looking forward to working on this this weekend. You have really rocked your text, here!
Love your piece... so many words to read, liking the way youve put the wjhole thing together. I also found it great fun!

I love your page, such beautiful colors.
Terrific page! It really works well.
I really enjoyed reading your page - so many of the phrases could be used with the green 'life' as though the page had all these hidden meanings. Very cool!
LOVELY! I do love the shadows here! Very nice page!
i love the green in this : ))
Glad to hear you are newly inspired. Great page and the green really stands out.
Love the way this has turned out - so different from others I've seen on my bloghop. I, too find it so intriguing to see which words people have chosen - I think they speak volumes. Off to peruse your blog, now...
Beautiful page. Love reading all the bits and pieces you chose, and I really like the composition and the colors. Cool, thanks for sharing !
Thanks so much for sharing your page. I love the colours and the way the words all connect somehow.
